Question 1

How do I earn money with tehil.io?

Accepted Answer

You earn a share of the revenue every time a sponsored answer is shown or clicked in your chat. Your share is defined in your publisher agreement and visible in your dashboard.

Question 2

How much can I expect to earn?

Accepted Answer

It depends on your conversation volume, your industry and your audience's location. Share your traffic with us and we will send you a personalized estimate within 48h.

Question 3

What do I need to integrate the SDK?

Accepted Answer

A few lines of code in your existing chat. The SDK works with the main LLM providers and chat frameworks. Your interface stays yours, and you choose where sponsored answers appear.

Question 4

Does it slow down my chat?

Accepted Answer

No visible delay. Ad selection runs in under 300ms, in parallel with your AI's answer.

Question 5

Do ads change what the AI answers?

Accepted Answer

Never. Your AI generates its answer independently. The sponsored answer is displayed separately and always labeled "Sponsored".

Question 6

Can I block competitors or certain categories?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can block specific advertisers, domains or entire categories, and cap the number of sponsored answers per conversation.

Question 7

Is my users' data safe?

Accepted Answer

Conversations are processed only to select a relevant sponsored answer. We do not sell data, do not build cross-site profiles, and never share conversation content with advertisers. We are GDPR compliant and provide a Data Processing Agreement.

Question 8

What happens with sensitive conversations?

Accepted Answer

Conversations on sensitive topics (health, distress, minors, etc.) are automatically excluded from sponsored placements.

Question 9

I don't have a chat yet. How does the free custom chat work?

Accepted Answer

We build an AI chat around your business, content and branding, then host and run it for you. You pay nothing: no build cost, no monthly fee, no integration work.

Question 10

Why is the custom chat free?

Accepted Answer

We earn when advertisers pay for sponsored answers in your chat. Our share covers hosting and AI costs, so you never pay.

Question 11

Who can get a free custom chat?

Accepted Answer

It is available to sites with significant traffic, on application. Tell us about your activity and audience, and we will get back to you.

Question 12

Where do my ads appear?

Accepted Answer

On our network of AI apps and assistants, and on ChatGPT Ads through our API connection. You can choose one channel or both in the same campaign.

Question 13

How is this different from search or display ads?

Accepted Answer

We match your offer to the whole conversation: intent, location, timing and where the user stands in their decision. Not a keyword, not a page category.

Question 14

Do I need to write the ads myself?

Accepted Answer

No. You can upload your own creatives or let the platform generate sponsored answers from your website and offer, which you approve before launch.

Question 15

What reporting do I get?

Accepted Answer

Impressions, clicks, CTR, spend, eCPM and conversions, by campaign and channel, updated in real time.

Question 16

How do you protect my brand?

Accepted Answer

Sponsored answers are never shown next to sensitive conversations, and publishers in our network are reviewed before activation. Invalid traffic is filtered and credited back.

Question 17

Can I target specific countries or languages?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by country, language and topic of conversation.

Question 18

Who is behind tehil.io?

Accepted Answer

tehil.io was founded by Stéphane Pitoun, a serial adtech entrepreneur with two exits (Bidshake, acquired by Voodoo, and Adxperience).

Question 19

Are users told they are seeing an ad?

Accepted Answer

Always. Every sponsored answer carries a visible "Sponsored" label.

Question 20

How do I contact you?

Accepted Answer

Publishers: publishers@tehil.io · Advertisers: advertisers@tehil.io · Everything else: hello@tehil.io
